An undersea segment and the action-packed descent of a helicopter are among the highlights of the Simon Star Show, with 90 percent of the acts different to those in Simon Show, Patong. ‘Photos with the Stars” for many remains the most memorable part of the evening as the performers parade for their guests. Seventy performers turn on plenty of razzle and dazzle in 16 acts – a full 75 minutes’ worth.

There are nightly shows at 6pm, 7.45pm and 9.30pm. Tickets are 800 baht. The purpose-built theatre can be found near Rajabhat University in Phuket City.

For shorter bookings we offer 1200 per night during this period.

Phuket town is somewhere to go at least for one day, you will see a real contrast with the beach tourist Phuket. It is hard to say that I wish I could have spend more time there as we mainly come to enjoy the beach and sun but it is definitly different and nice to go for food and market

.If you have time then Old Phuket town is a great place to visit. We spent some time taking in the gorgeous old buildings that are centuries old and getting a taste of Thai culture. If you are game enough definitely try some food from the street vendors. Thalong road is the place to go.

Phuket Town has everything. There is Old Phuket, with its old beautiful buildings and arty streets and shops. Markets bustling with fresh fruits, vegetables, and everything else under the sun. Plenty of great shopping opportunities. Amazing photography opportunities. Yummy restaraunts and cafes at every corner. Art galleries…. It’s all here and really easily accessible!

Make sure you go to the night market at Phuket Town on Saturday night, The market opens at 5pm and goes till 10pm – although we only stayed till about 8.30. We walked for miles up and down the alleyways of stalls. Great for shopping for all clothes, shoes, accessories etc, but make sure you bargain hard

We had great fun visiting Phuket town on a Sunday evening. The weekend market is really really good- lots of street food, fruits, juices and of course fake designer stuff. The prices were really competitive. Very good atmosphere and good fun. We then went to the town and had a lovely italian meal. Some very good restaurants in the town…

These flights will be three times a week.

The airline also announced additional flights from Bangkok to Copenhagen.

The flights will operate three times per week using the Boeing 747-400 aircraft. Service will begin on November 11, 2011, but passengers can reserve seats immediately.

Mr. Pandit Chanapai, THAI Executive Vice President of Commercial, told Travel Daily News, “THAI is pleased to offer the first-ever direct flights from Copenhagen to Phuket giving passengers more choices and making it easier than ever to travel from Scandinavia straight into Phuket.”

THAI’s flight TG953 is a 10-hour, 35-minute flight, departing Copenhagen on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and arriving in Phuket the following day. Returning passengers may take any of THAI’s daily flights from Phuket to Bangkok and connect on flights to Copenhagen.
