Villa Sanyanga is more than a rental villa - it is a whole concept, designed to give you a relaxing, luxurious and memorable holiday.
Airport Transfers
We offer one free transfer on arrival, and one on departure. If there are multiple arrivals on the same day, we can arrange extra transfers at your expense. Our mini-bus can seat 14 people without luggage so if you have a large group arriving on the same flight, you might need an extra vehicle for luggage, and we can arrange this at your expense.
Mini-bus and driver
There is a mini-bus with driver, available for use by the villa guests, under certain conditions. It is used for transfers to and from Phuket airport and our luxury villa, and it will normally be available to you each day up to 9 p.m., apart from arrival and departure days.
However, the bus is used for both the yacht and the villa. Occasionaly it has to be used for yacht transfers, and during this time it will not be available for guests. This would be only for a couple of hours at a time, and usually in the early morning or evening, so there is still plenty of time for villa guests to use the bus, even on those days. You will have advance notice of when the bus is to be used for yacht transfers, so you can arrange your excursions around Phuket accordingly.
At the start of your stay, there will be a full tank, and the driver will make a note of any fill-ups, and on your last day, you can pay to fill the tank again. After any yacht transfers, the driver will fill the tank again to the level it was when last used by villa guests. He will invite you to check this.
It's possible to use the bus after 9 p.m as long as it is arranged the previous day, and it is not in use during that day as well. Please tell Lily each day what time you will be needing the bus for the following day. It is available for your use for several hours each day, and the hours can be your choice, but please decide the day before, whether you prefer day-time or evening, so that Tongpoon can arrange his other duties and rest periods accordingly
Entertainment systems - Music, TV and DVDs
The entertainment system at Villa Sanyanga is exceptional. The Sonos music system runs with ipods, TV, and internet. The TV music programme runs 24 hours a day, and you have a big choice of music, which you can choose by genre. We provide 2 ipods with a combined 124 gigabytes of music. These days most people travel with their own ipods, so you can plug in your own music. Lily will show you how to use the system. It is “surround-sound”, with speakers in various parts of the terrace and upper villa. You can adjust the volume individually for each area. There is a large selection of DVDs of many kinds, for all age groups, and two large flat screen TVs in the villa, and a smaller one in the Master bedroom. The only thing we ask is that you keep the volume of music to a reasonable level, as sound carries in these hills, and there are other villas nearby. After midnight, keep the music very low, so it can't be heard by our neighbours.
Wifi Internet
We provide free high-speed internet with wifi.
Tennis Court, Fitness Room and Pool Room
These are available free of charge in the club-house near the entrance to Baan Thai Surin Hill. You can use the shuttle bus to reach the gym and tennis courts.
A day out on a yacht
Shangani is a luxury catamaran yacht for charter, and we offer a special low price cruise to guests on holiday in Villa Sanyanga. If there are 14 people, the price for a half-day cruise will be only 2,500 baht each. Thai Massage in the Villa
During your holiday you can indulge in thai massage in the luxury villa. Lily will arrange for a masseuse to come to the villa whenever you want.

Food Shopping and Catering
Lily will prepare a meal for you on your first day, so you don’t have to think about shopping after a long flight. It will be a typical Thai dish, something that children will enjoy as well. Before your arrival in Phuket, please let us know of any food issues, religious or personal, or any allergies.
After you have settled in, you can discuss your food preferences, likes and dislikes, with Lily. She will take your personal taste into consideration when preparing meals for you. Her speciality is Thai cooking, and her tasty dishes will add to your Thai holiday experience. Lily can also prepare western dishes, and dishes especially for the children.
Please see the In House Menu page. There are cold beers in the fridge which you can either buy or replace, and good boxed red and white wine kept in the villa to buy at cost price. Also a good wine shop at the entrance to Baan Thai Surin Hill.
Shopping
Lily will tell you where to go for food shopping in Phuket - there is a good Tesco supermarket only 5 minutes drive from the villa. Your driver will take you. You can do your shopping there, and you can also ask Lily to do some of the shopping for you. Please give her the money for this. As she has to use her own car, we ask you to pay for her fuel too. The basics such as tea and coffee etc are already in the villa, and if you would like Lily to do some shopping for you before your arrival, please send us a list.
Fresh Fruit and Vegetables
For Thai cooking, the best option would be for Lily to buy the fresh ingredients at the local Thai market, especially the fruit and vegetables, as there is a huge variety of these at the local market, and at very reasonable prices. She will tell you what she has spent, but obviously will not be able to give you till receipts, as she can from the supermarket.
Typical Thai Beach Restaurants
There is an enormous range of restaurants of all categories in this area of Phuket, many close to the villa - the most enjoyable of these being the typical thai beach restaurants on Surin beach and Bang Tao beach. There is nothing nicer than sitting with your feet in the sand, watching a magnificent tropical sunset, while eating some of the world famous Thai food, at very reasonable prices.
On Surin beach just below the villa, you have a tremendous choice, between the exclusive and romantic, to cheap and rustic (but still delicious!).

It is a prepaid phone which you can top up in a supermarket, Lily will explain how to do this. Mobile phone charges are very low in Thailand.
